A Show of People - Dale Strattman

A Show of People
Dale Strattman

Forget about pixels and digital and put aside thoughts of instant gratification and embrace the purest form and principals of photography in this show of photographs by celebrated Wichita photographer Dale Strattman.

You may be lead to believe that Strattman has Dektol and D76 coursing through his veins but it only takes a few moments of conversation to realize that this guy is the real deal.  A man who cares about photography and sharing the passion of his natural talent.  Strattman is known for his black and white photography and currently is an adjunct professor at Wichita State University where he continues his lifelong calling of teaching students the art of seeing through a camera lens, of composition and of the execution of the perfect print.

The exhibition is in the main gallery of City Arts  (334 N. Mead Street, Wichita, KS 67202) and has been extended to run through February 25th to include the Final Friday in February.
